How was your experience?
The show was very cute and well done. The YOST THEATER venue needs A LOT of work. From the entry procedure to the seating procedure. There was only one person checking customers tickets for the entire show. Then there was a guy placing bracelets on every person that came in. Balcony bracelet, first floor bracelet, drink bracelet...this took forever!!! I have never been to a formal show where I needed a carnival type bracelet. This procedure made customers late for the 7 pm show. The pre-sale line was so long and the general admission line was so short. Therefore, if you were in the general admission line you got in more quickly and penalized for purchasing ahead of time. Once inside there was no one to direct you to your seats. We purchased balcony level seating, but when we got upstairs the balcony was full. This meant we could sit in the more expensive floor seats, but for people still standing in line; this meant they came in and were searching for seats while the show was already starting. Since no one directed you to your seats, there were empty seats between customers that never got used, yet people were standing at the back trying to find seats. Overall, I believe the venue procedure needs tons of work. The show itself was entertaining.
