How was your experience?
I have seen Don (aka Dön) McMillan almost every single time he's in the Bay Area. His style of smart, dorky, nerdy, Powerpoint-based humor tickles one of my many funny bones. What was different about this show was that it was more personal; he talked about his father, his son, and even a little more about his wife. It was very sweet, funny, and germane. Also, the show for us that Wednesday night was longer than usual. He was on stage for almost 1.5hours. I'm never disappointed when I see Don perform and I highly recommend him even if you're not an engineer (I'm not one). Rooster T. Feathers is still the area's best place to see live comedy. Sure, you might not have the *big* names come through all the time (like Punchline or Cobb's up in SF). But then again, those places pack you in like you're cattle and their food and drink prices are ridiculous. Rooster T.'s has a small and intimate venue, easy parking and friendly staff.
