How was your experience?
A classic with great production values and a terrific cast! Allison Pill is wonderful as well as Mather Zickel. Rod McLachlan is absolutely perfect as the "detective". His dilemma is deep and tragic. Adam Stein, in very big shoes to fill, is also impressive and scary. Semi-Spoiler ahead - Be Warned! Our favorite moment was when Susan realizes what's happening and everyone in the audience stopped wheezing, coughing, narrating the action and opening candy wrappers long enough to feel something other than annoyance at being dragged to the theater. Tips for theatergoers: 1) The person next to you can see the stage. You really don't need to tell them what's going on or comment on how different she looks from The Newsroom. If you don't talk during the show, you'll have something to talk about on the way home, besides doctor appointments or how your son never calls you. 2) Open those candies *before* the show begins. That way, you don't need to take 8 minutes to slooooowwwwwwllllly unwrap that ceremonial Brach's Butterscotch that you always have during the intense moments of life to protect you from authentic emotions. It's a great show. One question: Why diamonds?
