How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
This was a somewhat disappointing performance, not up to the Emerald City Trapeze standards. That was the third show that I saw there and my least favorite. Waiting outside in line for an hour started it out pretty poorly. Then there were pretty large delays between each number, so the show didn't really flow smoothly. In addition to that, I found most aerial numbers as cool as I used to see at ECT shows. The opening number was a bit slow. The contortionist Kristina Nekyia didn't do that much contortion, though looked great in a bikini. The hip hop rope was strange. I didn't think that baggy hoodies worked great for that number. Jonathan Fortin's routine was great, except for ridiculously slow and drawn out intro with all the water drinking. I didn't get the water drinking part, and it took so long that I was ready to leave. Bridget Gunning was great, so was the static trapeze couple (Duo Volta?). Anyway, I'll give one more ECT show a try and stop going if they don't improve. Last year's Carnevolar was excellent, and this year's Mardi Gras performance was excellent as well. Hopefully the next one will be a hit again. I love ECT.
