How was your experience?
Though most of the singing was wonderful--far more than Anne Midgette's review would have made you think--the production is TERRIBLE. This plot does not fit in the modern grunge sets and costumes, and it is hard to watch a brilliantly sung Leonora (Adina Aaron) dressed like a rap singer. It's absurd, distracting, and irrelevant. The only truly bad singing was from the tenor, who was cringe-worthy, nothing beautiful in the sound at all.
