How was your experience?
OFF THE CHAIN!!! I wish For The People took place more often in the Bay Area. Frankie is very enjoyable, and possesses a strong likeability factor. The line-up was all males with the exception of Ms. Marcela Arguello who on this night made a very personal revelation about her father's health (not comedic) that changed the environment almost instantly. But, she followed up with a funny anecdote about her father that lightened things up. I've never experienced a comedian make that type of disclosure, but I respect her for that 100%, and am now even more of a fan of la chica Marcela! People, you have to check out one of Frankie's For The People shows! The comics' material was varied enough so that everyone laughed at something. Also, they complement their shows with dope beats provided by a talented DJ! The one thing I would have liked to see, for my tastes, was a gay comedian that added a splash of rainbow to the mix to balance out the few "that's gay" comments that came out some of the male comics' mouths (cuz we got the skittles so that they can savor the rainbow for a bit). But, I thoroughly enjoyed this show and give them all my full Lady Gaga applause!
