How was your experience?
We loved it! I had promised my girlfriend to take her to see Evita some years back, for some reason we never got to go, always something. Married now and 30 years later (yes, married with the girl I made the promise to that many years back) we went to Hollywood to finally see Evita and made good on my promise. Driving to Hollywood was a hassle, heavy traffic, bad drivers and zombies on the streets, police everywhere, made us feel as if we were driving through a set at Universal Studios all we needed were flood waters and an avalanche to top it off. We gave ourselves 3.5 hours to get there for a drive that should take 1 hr and 10 min.only. We were almost late but got there with 10 mins. to spare. Dropped the wife at the convenient drop off point at the Pantages, went to park the car and it was pandemonium in the pantages parking lot ( Argyle lot) the attendant that greeted me did not know what he was doing directing people in different directions that almost caused an accident and was very disrespectful when addressing the patrons.. Nevertheless, this was not going to derail me, I parked the car and walked to the venue, and from there on it was just perfect. Great cast , great music great set. Full standing ovation at the end of the show.
