How was your experience?
We bought 2 tickets for this event from Gold Star for 4:15. We got there around 4 and we looked for parking until 4:30. We finally paid $25 flat fee to be able to park near the event. The Valet parking at Newport Landing told us it is only for the restaurant. When we got to the desk, they said the boat had already left. They were very unfriendly. When we asked what we should do, they said we could put our names on the waiting list for 5:30, and take the place of the people who will miss the 5:30 because of not finding a parking place.. We went back at 5:30, they said there is no room, but the guys who were helping people load the boat told us there is enough room for 2 people. But the guy who was supposed to give us the tickets did not issue the tickets for us and did not let us board. Their employees are the rudest and the most obnoxious people I have ever seen. It's a good place if you want to see the American Value of "customer service" decaying!
