How was your experience?
This was my first time at the Ovation Theatre, a reasonably small three row theatre where I sat in the front row center within inches of the actors. It is hard to believe that there is a bad seat in this theatre. As for the play itself, I spent some time reading reviews and deciding to actually see the play. Finally, the Sacramento News & Reviews 5* review sewed up my interest. The reduced price offered by goldstar certainly didn't hurt either. However, the play is worth the full price. The play ran for 2 1/4 hour plus a 15 minute intermission. I don't do all that well sitting for long periods. The acts before the intermission was actually 1.5 hours and I hardly noticed. The acting was superb. I would recommend reading the review at http://www.newsreview.com/sacramento/dysfunctional-times-infinity/content?oid=11971017, which describes it a lot better than I could.
