How was your experience?
Alice Cooper is the consummate showman. His performance was masterful, taking the stage as if he not only owned it now but always had. His songbook is extensive and more varied than he is often given credit for, and many of the songs lend themselves ideally to the personas and stories he spins onstage. Taking a venerable classic like "School's Out" and incorporating parts of "Another Brick in the Wall" was brilliant ('we don't need no education'), and his resurrection in the graveyard of rock n roll greats was a brilliant way for him to channel Jim Morrison, John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, and Keith Moon!
