How was your experience?
When this show worked, it really worked and when it didn't it was down right embarrassing. Like when the 3 women playing the Andrew Sisters were on stage the show was captivating. However when the men were on stage trying to be Abbot and Costello or Danny Kay the show seemed to slow way down and the audience struggled to follow who the characters were supposed to be and what was going on. Also several scenes have men dressed as women and in bad drag too. Why the director and writer think that is funny is beyond me. When the man in bad drag comes out as First Lady Elenore Roosevelt, I lost all respect I had for the show. So, if you like the Andrew Sisters, then go to the show because they are really fantastic. You will just have to sit there and cringe when the show stopping bad skits come on.
