How was your experience?
No disrespect to the church but the entire experience of this production was terrible. The process for getting tickets for those of us who purchased through Goldstar was a complete mess. After standing in line at the will call for 30 minutes my party and I learned that Goldstar customers had to collect their tickets at an obscure office on the other side of the buidling. This should have been made clear from the beginning. I attended the second showing on December 21. My show was scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. This created a nightmare trying to navigate the halls of the theatre. As people were crowded in the halls waiting to be seated. The subsequent dismissal of the first production created an even bigger mess in the halls. The production was bad. The sequence of events on the stage made no sense. The segment with youth lip-syncing to secular pop music was odd and had no connection to Christmas. The second part of the show morphed into the story of the crucifixion. Really, I thought I was going to a Christmas celebration and not an Easter service. If the tickets were cheaper I could give it a pass; however, given the price this was incredibly underwhelming. The gospel stars were the only redeeming quality of this awful show. #NeverAgain
