How was your experience?
Excellent play about mothers, teenage sons, and violence in Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood. The actors were first rate. Three of the four actors portray multiple roles and do a great job at distinguishing each character. I even cried a little during one scene, which is pretty much unheard of for me at a play. The dialogue at the end of the play seemed a little forced, but not enough to detract from the work in any way. This was a preview and in the talkback quite a few people thought there was too much swearing and use of the N word. Something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to that kind of thing. I felt it helped add to the reality of the play.
