How was your experience?
we got there 30 mins before and had to wait their long line, the lady at the service desk was very rude, we waited for a long time just to find out that goldstar did not provide the correct location, Newport Landing Chartered Boats is not for pre-chrismas Boat event We even brought the email print out sent by goldstar with their company's name, address and meeting time on it, all she said was "we are not the host for pre-chrismas boat event, I don't know why goldstar has our company name and address on it". And the lady gave us very bad direction and moved up to their next customer after we asked twice about how to get to the correct company which is ALL the way on the other side and we had to ask 3 more stores before finding it which is at: Davey's locker 400 Main st Newport Beach, CA 92661 They are at totally different street, and due to this, we were 1 min late and Davey's locker did not let us go to the boat, they said that we bought the ticket from goldstar and they can only give us coupon for next time which we are still require to pay for their fuel surcharge and need to make reservation which they are all booked this year. We felt it's very unfair, if goldstar would have given us the correct business name and address, we would make it on time for sure, we would not wasted the parking money and had to park so far away from the event, and waited for so long just to find out it's wrong place, then we had to figure out where on the street by asking around, this is totallly unacceptable, So today we drove almost 100 miles round trip and wasted both gas and parking fee and couldn't make it because of the wrong infos provided by goldstar. We felt it'll be fair if goldstar can issue us full refund and still let "Davey's lcoker" honor their coupons issued to us.
