How was your experience?
I recommend this play to anyone with an interest in western art or art history. Being an art lover, myself, and a bit familiar with who Berensen and Duveen were, if not many specifics of their lives, I was looking forward to this play, and I enjoyed it. The production and acting were great. But it left questions about the heart of the story, the integrity of Berensen's authentications and his reputation toward the end of his life. I will find out more about these questions and go looking for the "Adoration of the Shepards" at the National (Mellon) Gallery.
