How was your experience?
Wow, I don't know what to say...i don't want to offend anyone and I feel a bit guilty, but it was not good. There were funny moments, mostly during scenes that were not meant to be funny. We found ourselves biting our lips and making that noise when you snort because you can't contain the laughter, you know? There were a couple of good singers and fair actors, but many, yes many, of the cast could not hold a tune. I don't want to get too detailed and mean, I really wanted to love it, of course, that's why we attend plays and musicals, but this was a snooze and embarrassing to watch. Sorry folks. I special shout out to the adorable and chiseled young man who plays Uardo #4 on the basketball team. When he did the last dance in his toga, I decided the night was not a total loss. Also the girl who played Robin brought some much needed "meat and bones" to the story, and she could actually act, dance and sing. The script stunk, in my opinion. Just boring fluff. The staff at the venue were friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. This was the first time I had been to the new location, which is just about 5 doors down from the old one.
