How was your experience?
It was much better than I anticipated. It presents issues of the power of the press and and of criminal prosecutors, with racial issues "mixed in."The power of both is subject to abuse and when abused has the potential for grievously effecting the lives of others. The play loosely based on a real story where several white Duke University fraternity boys were charged with the brutal rape of a black woman who came to the fraternity house as a stripper. Th play is quite thought provoking. The venue is small enough that all seats are acceptable. There are many restaurants in the area so getting a meal before the theater is no problem. Overall, a great evening of theater.
