How was your experience?
This show was really something I don't really want to see. having seen Manilow's Copacabana in the West End, I didn't think his talents were suited for a book show. WOW was I wrong! And was soooo glad I went to see HARMONY! This tight, fast paced, tuneful musical was funny at moments as well as very touching. The cast are all first rate!!!! Everyone of them! The show is not star driven but story and musically driven. The sets and costuming are great for that time in history. The show got a standing 'O" by all which usually all shows in LA get because we get such crap out here and are starved for anything close to entertaining. BUT, HARMONY deserves every last person on their feet. I hope that it finds its' way to Broadway. Too bad it lost its' initial investors which kept it from going to New York. We see so many "going to Broadway" shows at the Music Center and they go nowhere. This show is polished and bubbling over with talent. May the odds be in your favor NOW to the Big Apple!
