How was your experience?
It was an OK event. Fairly small and lightly attended, although I think the upcoming weekend will be a bigger deal. The ticket offer we purchased was outstanding, however, and Goldstar--as usual--delivered as promised. The venue is cleverly decorated, and creates good Irish ambiance. The selection of bands was good, with a variety of musical styles--one band outside in a courtyard area; the other band inside in one of the exhibit buildings. Acoustics in the building were rather poor, and the better musical experience was outside. Food offerings were good--"traditional" Irish fare, and beer selections were excellent, with plenty of bars to stop in at. Small midway outside for kids, although we didn't have any with us. Aside from that, there isn't much for the wee ones to do. It's definitely worth stopping by for.
