How was your experience?
I will second an earlier review asserting it's not too much a "dementia" story but layers of relationships & discoveries. Which honestly, works. I like surprises and a good story line. You will find that here. Don't get me wrong, there IS dementia but how they weaved a family story into the fold was seamless & thoughtful. Also, not wanting to give too much away (SO hard to refrain; wanting to comment on some of that thread as well, but I'll behave myself) I thought it entirely plausible, realistic & genuine plot-line, particularly for the architecture of the time & locale (and maybe, to some extent, now as well). Kudos to ALL the actors & their fine performance bringing the script to life here. Much of the unexpected-- the arc of this story --soars, in my humble estimation. Just know it MAY not be what you expect it to be going into it & you'll be fine!
