How was your experience?
My husband and I went to the Franklin Institute to see the Pompeii exhibit on a Friday afternoon. The exhibit was wonderful, moving and educational. The museum, however, was teeming with school children, many of whom were badly behaved, rude, loud and unsupervised. I would have given five stars for the exhibit but gave only four because of the decibel level and unruly crowds. Happily, once inside the exhibit - we had to wait about an hour for entrance - there were few kids and those who were there were well behaved. Also, the parking lot at the FI was full when we arrived and we had to walk about half a mile to another parking lot. This was not a terribly big deal but did put a slight damper on the day but only because of the cold weather. Be prepared for a lack of parking when you arrive, just in case. We didn't purchase the audio tour - but I would recommend doing that in the future.
