How was your experience?
Another highly imaginative and inventive production from this really excellent and creative company. Charles Duncombe's dialogue sparkles, especially when he's sending up contemporary chatter about "supporting the arts" while burying them in grants, paperwork, and justifications on the ground of "economic impact." The acting is superb in this briskly moving performance. George Villas as Moliere and Alex Pike as king Louis XIV stood out for me, but my favorite is the impressively versatile RJ Jones.
