How was your experience?
My husband and i went to this show not really knowing what to expect. We had a lot of fun. It was fast paced and funny. We went and stood in line early since it was first come first serve. The theater was small for such a famous production and did not have theater style seating. The seats were small wooden bar chairs that were quite uncomfortable and very close together. Since we got our seats from gold star, we could only sit in the rear but we were in the first row of the rear and the two rows in front of us were empty so we didn't have our view blocked. The worst part of the experience was the people ushering you in. They were extremely rude. I had a cup of coffee and this asian woman tried to grab it from me! I told her I just got it and she rudely told me to go outside to finish it or hand it over, which I did. We noticed that 70% of the audience was over 50 years old. The show itself was great. It was about Snow White from San Francisco who travels around looking for love. The cast had fantastic singing voices and they sang mostly songs from 50's or 60's and they made fun of current events. If you are up to date on pop culture, you will enjoy this all the more. Their costumes were cool but their head pieces and wigs were fabulous! My favorite was brunette actress ( i think her name was Jill Diamond, she was hilarious with all her antics). As I said the show was fast paced and you didn't really notice how uncomfortable the chairs were. There was a cold draft in the goldstar seats because you are relatively close to the door. So if its cold outside take a jacket with you for inside.
