General Admittance Special (Limit 2)
How was your experience?
The Secret Improv Society should definitely remain a secret. This was a real dud. I think improv is very popular with the success of youknowwho in Chicago and New York. San Francisco is a different matter altogether. The skits were dim and not funny. This troupe lacked chemistry and positive energy. They worked against each other with a few stage hogs who seemed to care less about their fellow players. Another reason we went was to see something new from the other theatres in town but unfortunately, The Secret Improv Society is riddled with the same people from other improv troupes. Which is a real shame because it means the scene will always remain mundane, predictable and unimaginative. It's not good, its not fun. It's also a pain in the neck parking-wise (had it been a good show, I would not have noticed).
