How was your experience?
D.L. is such a cut-up! We warned our "line" buddies not to go for the front row if they didn't want to be part of the routine. They didn't listen. We really enjoyed their pain! And for those who haven't been around since D.L. started, picking on the audience is a signature of his routine, not a way to fill time. It's what us old timers look forward to. You always get your moneys worth when you see him. And the location is great. We arrived around 9pm and parked at the lot across the street. Parking was $20 and we got a great spot. Then we went to 319 Columbus street where you can get a glass of draught beer for $1.50. We chilled for about 30 minutes watching the game on the big screen TV before heading next door to get in line. Picking up my Gold Star tickets was an easy breezy experience. Walked up, handed over my printed out receipt and my ID and was handed my tickets. Stood in line, showed ID again so that the check-in process is expedited. Once inside we were promptly seated in the first row after the stage seating! Excellente!
