How was your experience?
Four of us arrived about 30 min before the doors opened at 7 pm (Fri) and were first in line for a table. So we got The best seat in the house--the only front stage-center table. The show was terrific, but a little repetitive, it seemed. Lots of clapping and tapping! I was a bit disappointed in the single "basic" dinner choice that was included--a rather basic seafood paella. Upgrade options were available that made the dinner much better. The food and service that we upgraded to were excellent! The upgrades and a couple drinks, however, cost us another $120 for the 4 of us. At a minimum, there is tax and a 18% service charge added to your TOTAL bill (including the Goldstar price), even it you don't "upgrade" your dinner. That wasn't made clear in the advertisements that I read. So for 4 of us, it cost about $250 total; about $63 each! That doesn't include the $15 to park 4 blocks away. Would I go again? Perhaps. If you go, be sure to preview their entire menu at their website and know the only 3 items that you (and everyone else) gets for the "basic" price and what you must pay to upgrade your meal. Goldstar does save you money on the event, but.....be warned of the "extras" that can empty your wallet quickly.
