How was your experience?
This is the second show I've seen Frank adapt from Murakami. I enjoyed after the quake more as a play than I enjoyed Kafka on the Shore. I didn't feel that Frank went far enough making it a surreal experience. Items cut from the book made it less about Kafka's journey through himself and more about the world around this young boy. Many relationships were unclear and it seemed as if not many people around us were able to understand what was going on. I liked it but did not enjoy it.
