How was your experience?
The tickets were fine although there were empty seats more towards the center so I am not sure how they allocate the tickets but it seemed a bit odd. The matinee show seemed off somehow at certain points but overall it was great. The one complaint having nothing to do with Goldstar is that they let infants and toddlers into the show. In fact, one of each was sitting in the row behind me to the right and frequently throughout the show they would make loud noises and the toddler kicked the seats. It is beyond me why the theatre would allow such young children into the show. Luckily, there were open seats and the people who sat right in front of the children moved. It is my belief that an audience certainly can affect a performance and how a dancer may respond to an audience--much like the dynamics of a watching a play. Possibly this may be why certain parts seemed slightly unfinished or sloppy (as if there was a lack of concentration). Nevertheless the show was wonderful and I would certainly pay to see another show--perhaps though an evening show.
