How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
We went to the 2PM Dec. 18th performance. Dad - We finally saw all the moves done right. The Harlequin Clown was exquisite - all of his moves were perfect. Mom - It was fascinating watching professionals dance this revised Nutcracker! Despite the loud clumping sounds emanating from the corps' shoes (and we were in the first balcony, Founder's Circle!) they were very precise and well synchronized for such a large corps. I did not miss the Mother Ginger but would have preferred a more sensual Arabian number. The Chinese Dance was absolutely fascinating and executed beautifully. Kudos to the harp and glockenspiel in the orchestra - wonderfully played, both. The piccolo was a little overwhelming at times but the orchestra as a whole performed brilliantly. As for the children in the audience, they were the best-behaved under-12 set I've ever experienced. There were at least 15 children right around where we were sitting, and only 2 (both from the same family) were acting up. I was very happy with the performance, and will definitely use Goldstar for my ticket purchases in the future. Daughter - I've danced classical ballet for 17 years and I know for a fact that no one knows better how much effort and pure physical power that it takes to do even the simplest of moves, aside from the dancers themselves. Bravo; I would gladly pay to see it again. Thank you, Goldstar!!!!
