The story of A sorority-sister valley girl goes to Harvard Law to get her boyfriend back, and ends up defying expectations while staying true to herself. Based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the MGM movie starring Reese Witherspoon.

About the Ticket Supplier: Runaway Stage Productions

Runaway Stage Productions (RSP) began serving the region's theatre community in 1997 at the Eagle Theater in Old Sacramento and now performs at the 24th Street Theater at the Sierra 2 Center. It is the only Community Theatre Company in the greater Sacramento Area that is priveleged to have an 18 piece Resident Orchestra dedicated to providing "live" music during performances.

The company stages six Broadway style productions each season, and six original Storybook Children's Theater shows, which are tailored towards younger audiences yet enjoyable for the whole family.

Past Elly Awards for best overall productions include All Shook Up (2008), Cinderella (Children's Play - 2008) Chicago (2007), The Wiz (2003), and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2000).

Runaway Stage Productions also offers education and enrichment of all audiences through its Youth Musical Theatre Workshops which introduce school age children to the theatrical experience. RSP provides a new learning opportunity through the "Broadway Kids" series, which introduces children between the ages of five to nine to the stage in a fun and nurturing environment.
