The weather was sometimes mornings are foggy and windy, bring a warm jacket- usually clears up half way through the trip in the summer months.. I wore slacks, t-shirts with heavy sweatshirts.

After the sail, if you enjoy the tourist scene Pier 39 offers many, although mediocre food choices. You're better off walking a few blocks or taking a cab to North Beach-Cafe Sport is amazing as are many local restaurants.

Parking at Pier 39 lot for the trip is about $27- $9 per hour. There is parking further away for less but this is so convenient.

The weather was very windy on the choppy waters. I wore a tee shirt, a sweatshirt a jacket and a scarf. I would also recommend you wear/take gloves. Also this is not a place to try and be high heel friendly. You are on a boat, the choppy seas, wear comfortable sneakers or riding boots as I did. Waterproof and kept my feet warm. They did have extra blankets aboard in the event you needed it.

The weather was windy and cold. I wore pants, flip flops, shirt and jacket (recommend wearing socks/shoes and bringing an extra thick jacket).

They were really fun so we tipped $10 - no other charge was there not even for the drinks on board

If you ride a bike, you can bike over to the ferry building after (about 15 minutes) for lunch.
