It has also helped serve as a connection with visiting scholars from Finland associated with the nearby University of California Berkeley, as well as Stanford University. It also has helped Finns connect with the greater Finnish musical and arts talents found in the Bay Area. The Hall has also provided a place of voting for Finnish Nationals living in the US and registered Ex Patriots. Ongoing Finnish programs meeting at the hall include the monthly meetings of the United Finnish Kaleva Brothers and Sisters for Lodge 21 and Kaleva Ski Club. The children's Suomi Koulu cultural group meets twice per month for young children.
