The Mainstage's 556-seat theatre is the venue for most A.R.T. productions as well as fall and spring mainstage productions of the Harvard-Radcliffe Dramatic Club (HRDC). The building also contains the Loeb Ex, or Experimental Theatre, a "black box" that is used by the A.R.T.'s Institute for Advanced Theatre Training and the HRDC.

                              Take the MBTA Red Line to the Harvard Square (T) stop. Use the Brattle St. exit and walk to 64 Brattle.
                                Driving and Parking
                              If you're coming by car, one option is to park at the Charles Hotel Garage. Bring your parking ticket to the Box Office on the day or night of your performance for validation. From North or South, take Route I-93 to the Storrow Drive exit, following signs for Cambridge. Storrow Drive becomes Soldier's Field Rd. From West take Massachusetts Turnpike to exit at Allston tolls. Follow signs to Cambridge, and enter Storrow Drive/Soldier's Field Rd. Exit Soldier's Field Rd.at Harvard Square, turn right onto John F. Kennedy St. and cross the river (Anderson Bridge) and Memorial Dr. Turn left onto Eliot St., left again onto Bennett St., continue past the Charles Hotel on your left and turn left onto University Rd.; the entrance to the Charles Square Garage will be immediately on your left, underneath the Charles Hotel.
