Chicago Dramatists is housed in a completely modern, intimate theatre in an historic commercial building from 1888 in Chicago's River West neighborhood, immediately northwest of the Loop. Designed by the Chicago Architectural Assistance Center in 1988, the facility contains a fully equipped, air-conditioned, 77-seat theatre, a lobby-gallery, classrooms, dressing rooms, rehearsal rooms, and a brand new set of street-front offices and lounge, all wheelchair accessible.
