143 Goodman Theatre - The Albert Tips

We stayed at the Burnham Hotel, well located for The Goodman and near the Redline. Great little hotel, but can be expensive. We happened on a good rate!

We dined at Tratorria No. 10, just down the street from The Goodman, and it was quite good. A little expensive, but if you don't order wine (expensive) and dessert, you can keep the bill down. I enjoyed it, but my husband thought it was "too fancy." I thought it was perfect in beautiful surroundings, and I would dine there again!

The weather was cold and rainy.. I wore slacks, a sweater, and Uggs. Most people were in dress casual..

Corner Bakery around the corner on Randolph for a quick inexpensive meal before the show.

We took metra from suburbs. Walked up Adams to Elephant and Castle for dinner. Short walk to theater from there. $5cab ride back to train after show.

We ate at Pettorino's, which adjoins the Goodman theater. Their food is pricey, and the shrimp in my seafood Louie salad had an unpleasant iodine taste. The black olives in the salad were straight out of a can and lacking in flavor.

Buy the advance parking for $16 from the Goodman Theatre site when going to the Goodlman Theatre.
