The Steppenwolf Downstairs Theatre presents world-premiere productions and fresh interpretations of classic and contemporary plays in its state-of-the-art 515-seat theater, where no seat is more than 40 feet from the stage.

The Steppenwolf Upstairs Theatre is a 299-seat proscenium theater that reflects Steppenwolf's commitment to the intimacy of the actor-audience relationship. Each season, one subscription series play is produced in the Upstairs Theatre.

Concessions
Located outside of the Downstairs Theatre, the Steppenwolf lobby and concession service opens one hour prior to the performance. They offer a range of refreshments, including a full bar with top-shelf liquors, imported and domestic beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. Save time during intermission and pre-order your cocktails before the show. Fresh-brewed Peet's coffee is available at every performance, as well as a variety of candies and cookies.
