Parked at Hollywood & Highland and got food at CPK so parking would be validated. Always works like a charm but this time, the Dolby Theater had a show that got out the same time as the concert, so the entire garage was emptying out at once. It took us at least an hour and a half to get out -- it was a nightmare! Definitely check the Dolby Theater schedule before parking there.

Definitely take the Hollywood Bowl provided busses. They drop you off oa the top of the hill. Check their website for shuttle/ park n ride locations and times. Parking is free at all the shuttle/park n ride locations. You just have to buy tickets per person for the bus ($6).

Parking at the Bowl was a shock, $25.00 a car. I will check out picking up a Hollywood Bowl shuttle in the city near me the next time I go.

Wine bar is very expensive small plates with not much food. Better to pack a picnic & purchase alcohol there or drink before you get into the bowl. No glass or alcohol allowed in the bowl.

Park down Highland and make sure you don't get blocked in. It is half price and half the time. Worth the short walk.

Be advised that stack parking across from Bowl in Odin lot is now $23. Shuttles most economical.

and park at the lots available on Hollywood and Highland Ave. Cheaper and all you have to do is take a short walk up to the Bowl. Mind you it is all upill, so please wear comfortable shoes e.g. boots, flats, sneakers. If not, I'd pack some flats for walking and put your cute shoes on at the concert. :)

USE THE SHUTTLE! I have always hated The Bowl but that's because I've either driven myself or been dropped off by a friend and it's been torturous. Took the shuttle from Griffith Park and it was So. Awesome. Do it!
