It got chilly at night so I'm glad I took a jacket. We took the Metro, showed our TAP cards at the shuttle station on Cahuenga, and rode their for free. We didn't have to worry about traffic or parking!
We found that the best place to park is at the LA Zoo and then take the shuttle.the cost was only $6 round trip and was very convenient to access the freeway.doing this saved us $23 parking in a stacked parking parking lot
Best to take a snack to eat at your seat, but no alcohol allowed. A glass of wine is $8/ H2o $4/ Beer $15 or a bottle $30+. You can drink your own before going into the gate though and there are benches around trees to sit and eat.
I parked in lot D, which was $23, only $2 more than parking on Hollywood Blvd and taking the shuttle. Walk was fine, but once at the Bowl, if you are up high like me, LOTS of climbing! I wish I had brought water.
The weather was warm until sundown, and then chilly. I should have had a warmer coat, and maybe gloves.. I wore a long sleeved t-shirt material, leggings and boots, but with a summer type shawl coat that was not warm enough..
