About Queen Mary

One of the largest ocean liners in the world upon its maiden voyage in 1936, the luxurious Queen Mary was one of the Cunard Line’s premiere vessels during the middle part of the 20th century. Upon her retirement in 1967, the Queen Mary was permanently moored in Long Beach, where the vessel now serves as a tourist attraction, museum and hotel.

There are places to eat there, but better to have a drink before you meet the spirits.

Dear God, whatever you do, put blinders on before you step on the ship so that you do not see anything you did not pay for.

There is a free bus (the Passport) that runs through downtown Long Beach from 10th & Pine to the Queen Mary. If you park past 8th & Pine, there are no meters which means you can park for free instead of paying to park for $20. It's a fairly simple process with a straight shot on the bus. It runs the same route to and from the Queen Mary, so you can't get too lost.
