About Greek Theatre
Nestled within L.A.’s lush, sprawling Griffith Park, the Greek Theatre is among the city’s most charming and picturesque places to catch a live concert. The amphitheatre’s stage, modeled after a traditional Greek temple, has played host to some of the biggest names in pop, rock, classical and beyond, from The Who and Elton John to The White Stripes and Dave Matthews Band. Among the city’s most historic music venues (its first performance took place in 1931), “The Greek,” as the locals call it, is as vibrant a concert venue today as it was more than 80 years ago — especially during L.A.’s notoriously mild summer months.

I would not recommend the shuttle service. It is not on Vermont where the Greek is. You have to walk to the shuttle after you park, wait for the next one then drive through the traffic like everyone else! we had to wait in line again to get back to the lot where our car was.Experience Hendrix travel • Oct 13 2014 star this tip starred
