The Ricardo Montalbán Theatre is a landmark theater built in 1926 by The Wilkes Brothers. It was designed by famous Los Angeles architect Myron Young. An intimate venue with 970 seats, the theater is located in the heart of Hollywood, just south of Hollywood and Vine. It was previously known as the Doolittle Theatre. From 1954 to 1978 it bore the name of The Huntington Hartford Theatre. The theatre was also dubbed as The CBS Radio Playhouse from 1936-1954. In 2008, Ricardo Montalbán Foundation forged a unique relationship with Nike, Inc. In addition to the venue’s regular events, which include comedy, concerts, and full Broadway productions, Nike-sponsored programming is ongoing.
