We parked downtown and took the subway to and from the theater. The guidance available from both the MTA kiosk and our fellow subway riders was flawless. New Yorkers are friendly and helpful, if busy and a bit rushed.

We ate at Ellen's Broadway Diner which is just around the corner from Radio City. Wait staff performs holiday, pop and classic songs. Good food, big portions but it's pretty loud. Try to share a meal if they will allow it.

Take the B, D, F, or M train to the 47-50th Street Rockefeller Center stop. Arrive early for matinee and evening shows becasue the will call line is long however it is shorter than the line with ticket holders. Will call people go straight into the theater and do not have to get tickets to then stand in the ticket holder line. For a 9 am show I arrived in the will call line at 8 and I was the only one there...but that's because the early show isn't as crowded.

The crowds are massive outside the theater and lines for the ladies lounge were long, so arrive plenty early.

Be sure to let the people directing the lines know that you have already purchased your tickets. They will take you in and get your tickets very quickly.
