About Wells Fargo Center - Philadelphia

In 1988, Ed Snider had a dream to build a new state-of-the-art facility for the Philadelphia Flyers and 76ers, a place for everyone. That dream became a reality in the summer of 1996 when the doors were first opened at the CoreStates Center, now known as the Wells Fargo Center. In its short history, the Center has hosted some very memorable events.
