The Adams Avenue Studio of the Arts is a 900 square foot "black box" arena with a 10 foot ceiling height. There are possible entrances at each corner of the room. There are lighting bars strategically placed around the ceiling for flexible lighting plots (using in-house equipment/ 10 "pars" and 2 leikos)). The lobby is a 200 square foot gallery with exhibits changing on a 4 - 6 week basis.
The Studio is located along the famous "Antiques Row" district of North Park / Normal Heights on the northwest corner at the intersection of Adams Avenue and Idaho Street. Dining / shopping / drinking facilities are available within a few blocks east and west of the space. Through the generousity of the owners of the Mattressmakers store diagonally across the street, there is parking for 25 + cars (for ease of those coming to the space and in consideration of our neighbors to keep cast, crew and patrons cars out of their parking area).
