#1 California and cable car both just a few blocks away. Personally, I just walked to the venue!

I arrived in the neighborhood at 5:30 to get the best street parking, and free after 6pm. I then went to a local restaurant had a great meal and leisure walk back to the theatre.

I went to a Saturday matinee and street parking is fine. I would think that evening parking is also good. I know that one block away, on Pacific, there is plenty of parking because the block is industrial other than Globe Restaurant. A terrific restaurant and only one block away.

The weather was fine.. I wore casual clothes, as most people did, but did sit next to a woman dressed in a gold sequined gown! It's San Francisco where anything goes!.

We ate at Palio d'Asti and enjoyed a drink at the Wayfarer Tavern. We would recommend both and they are within waking distance of the theater.

The show's only a bit over an hour. So don't come late, and there is certainly time to eat afterwards.

There seemed to be more parking as we headed past the theater on Jackson towards the bay and turned left on Davis.

Starts at 8 and over a little after 9 so if you don't mind eating late go to The Globe on Pacific one block away. There the parking is generally good. Doors open at 7:30 but the theater is so large there should be good seats still available a bit before 8. That's if you want to eT earlier. Next time I visit that venue I will park near the Globe and walk.
