Verizon Center, located in downtown Washington, DC, is the country's newest state-of-the-art sports and entertainment facility. It is located in the Chinatown neighborhood of Washington and sits atop the Gallery Place-Chinatown station on the Washington Metro. Home to the NBA's Wizards, NHL's Capitals and WNBA's Mystics, the 20,000-seat Verizon Center also hosts Georgetown University men's basketball, concerts and more than 220 sports, entertainment and cultural events each year.
