Jeffrey Osborne

The youngest of a dozen children in Providence, RI, it makes sense that Jeffrey Osborne would want to have a solo career, even after breaking big with the ’70s funk-soul group LTD, who had chart-toppers with “(Every Time I Turn Around) Back in Love Again,” “Love Ballad,” “Holding On (When Love Is Gone)” and more. It turned out to be the right move, as this multiple Grammy nominee found success as a smooth R&B artist, with five gold and platinum albums, and a long list of memorable pop hits, including “On The Wings of Love,” “Stay With Me Tonight,” “We’re Going All The Way,” “You Should Be Mine,” “Love Power” (with Dionne Warwick) and “Only Human,” among many more. He continues to tour and record, with his latest release, a 2013 standards disc, A Time for Love.
