Reviews of KT Tunstall

Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall climbed her way to the top of the charts in 2004 off the strength of her very first single, the folk-blues hit “Black Horse in a Cherry Tree,” which won her a Grammy nomination and propelled her debut album Eye to the Telescope to multi-platinum sales. As a live performer, Tunstall always raises the roof with her joyful pop-rock sound, not to mention her impish sense of humor, whether she’s alone on stage with the loop pedal she’s nicknamed “Wee Bastard” or backed by a full band. She’s probably best known for songs like “Suddenly I See,” “Other Side of the World,” “Hold On,” “Saving My Face” and “Feel It All,” off of her six highly-acclaimed studio albums. Her latest, Kin, is set to drop in September of 2016.

My friend and I have been following KT since before she was big. We have photos with her at a Tower Records when no one knew her name. To be able to see her FOR FREE at the Wiltern years later through Goldstar was one of the best opportunities...continued

Nice venue, great lighting, and show. He is very interactive with the audience. Lots of humor and a fun show.

The crowd was so out of control we couldn't hear the performance. And, while the warmup groups were pretty good, two hours of waiting for the headliners was a bit much, and a disappointment when they finally performed vDefinitely not worth the money!

My girlfriend & I have been long-time followers of Chris Isaak, having seen him in concerts many times, from the OC Fairs he used to play at to other venues & even dvr'ing some tv shows he has appeared on.
This was the first time we saw his...continued

Fun evening! The sound system at the Grove is mediocre and my experience is that they can never get the balance correct. Some concerts you can hear the singer and some, like Chris Isaak, on the night we went, focus on the background musicians and...continued

Hall and Oates were awful!
They sang every song slowly! There was no dancing.
They even covered other people's songs! Ugh! They were better a couple of years ago at the Ventura County fair for $10. I bought these tickets months ago and items the...continued

The seats are just great for the prices! I got to sit at the first row in the Mezzanine section. And the performance is very entertaining! Both My cousin and I loved it!

It was a great concert with the exception of the white flashing lights into the audience all during Hall & Oats. I especially loved Trombone Shorty and Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings. Bravo for exposing audiences to great music they may not have...continued

I am not a big fan. Chris Isaak did not seem to get into the spirit of performing until about an hour in. My complaint is with the venue, City National Grove of Anaheim. The sound system was poor, too much base, the seating is on flat tiers, so...continued

The show started at 7, Hall and Oates came on at 9 and ended by 1015. I loved the music but wished they played longer!

I have to say I was disappointed in the performance. The openers were excellent but Hall and Oates were not up to par. The pacing of the songs was incredibly slow. Hall wasn't so much singing as he was skatting. Their band was on point, excellent...continued

Trombone Shorty was his usual exuberant self. And although friends and I went for Hall and Oates, we came away really loving Sharon Jones! Loved her Tina Turner performance. I understand Daryl Hall has lyme disease, so I can see where they need...continued

Best concert ever. Sold out - I'm glad I purchased Goldstar tickets early. Nothing being with 10,000 people singing"Whoaoa here she comes; she's a Maneater!".
