Excellent program. John William's music is a delight to the ears and the orchestra performed it masterfully. The music accompanying Yosemite's Bright Lights is not of my taste, but the photos were superb and the music made a good match.

Fantastic concert, and we had great seats. We were also surprised at how quickly we got to the venue. We live in the west valley, and it only took us 45 minutes to get to Oxnard....which was less time than it takes us to get to hollywood on a...continued

This was a fine concert overall from the New West Symphony under the baton of Marcelo Lehninger. They saved the best for last with an amazing performance of Leonard Bernstein's Symphonic Dances from West Side Story.

Saturday night at the Soraya was a wonderful concert tribute to the music of Henry Mancini, featuring Monica Mancini who sang beautifully and spoke nostalgically of her father and childhood home, just blocks from the location of this amazing...continued

Love the Broad Stage but their sound system needs tweaking.
The New West Symphony sounded unbalanced - nice string sections but blaring brass and thumping percussion.
Garrick Ohlsson was a treat which made this a worthwhile event.

Nice venue and good seats. Orchestra sounded good, with animated conductor. Nice touch to have NG photo montage to accompany Fingal's Cave Overture. Young violin soloist certainly talented but did not seem to mesh well with orchestra, trouble...continued

Garrick Ohlsson is one of the great pianists of our generation. His performance of Beethoven's "Emperor" Concerto was marvelous, and he received a standing ovation from the crowd. It was a very good concert overall.

A wonderful musical afternoon. The piano soloist was marvelous. And we got to hear all 62 minutes uncut of the Rachmaninoff Symphony Number 2, which is not often performed in its entirety.
