Renée Fleming
One of the most celebrated sopranos of our time, Renée Fleming is a National Medal of Arts and multiple Grammy winner who made a big splash at the 2014 Super Bowl with her stunning version of the national anthem. But that was only a long career with The Met and other operas around the world, where she impressed fans and critics with her full lyric soprano voice. She’s released more than 40 albums and is equally engaging whether she’s singing pop, jazz, arias or even indie rock. Fleming is currently stretching her creative wings as a consultant with the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

101 Renée Fleming Reviews
report as inappropriateI found the show boring. The music was not memorable. The story is fluff. Rene Fleming seems to be past her prime. This show was not a good vehicle for her talent. Very disappointed. I did like seeing the new Music Center Plaza.
report as inappropriateBeautifully staged and wonderfully sung by Renee Fleming, Dove Cameron and Brian Stokes Mitchell, "The Light In The Piazza" made a wonderful transition from the Broadway stage to the LA Opera stage.
report as inappropriateWhen the soloists performed, I was in heaven. But the chorus's participation was uneven.
The seats assigned, 1st tier side second row, were terrible. One could not see half the stage.
