Davidson’s stand-up career took off thanks to his mimicry of Sammy Davis Jr., Michael Jackson and other icons, and he quickly moved on to a successful TV and movie career, including roles on Fox’s In Living Color, Booty Call with Jamie Foxx, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls with Jim Carrey and the cult blaxploitation spoof Black Dynamite. He’s had three comedy specials on HBO, and opened for such stars as Patti LaBelle, Kenny G and Luther Vandross.
